Our story
A Farwell tradition, fifteen summers in.
Big R's started as a nonprofit effort to raise money for Hospice — a roadside stand with one smoker and a whole lot of heart. What began as a charity cook grew into a local tradition, and fifteen summers later we're still cooking BBQ the same honest way.
Today we smoke pork, chicken and pork belly low and slow, flip made-to-order burgers and dogs, and scoop hand-dipped ice cream for everyone who pulls up to the window.
